As a South African I started my full time career in Natural Health by registering for my first BodyTalk course in March 2003 in Cape Town. Immediately I realised the potential and became enthusiastic in furthering my studies in BodyTalk and follow it as a full time career. I attended all the advanced modules as it became available in South Africa. I became the first BodyTalk instructor in South Africa in 2005. In 2007 got recognition as a PaRama BodyTalk practitioner. In 2009 I qualified as a certified Advanced BodyTalk Practitioner. As an Advanced Certified Instructor I am teaching advanced modules since 2009. The courses I am teaching are, BodyTalk Access, BodyTalk Fundamentals, Fundamentals Integration, Principles of Consciousness, Macrocosmic Body Mind and Matrix Dynamics.

My personal experiences and those of my clients convinced me that the BodyTalk System is the ultimate natural modality within the ambit of the natural healing arts for practitioner and client, allowing the person to heal at all levels of existence. I have observed within myself and many of my clients, different stages of awareness which allows for change and a willingness to go to the next level.
My comprehensive nursing experience which stretched over 30 years in the fields of general, midwifery, operating theatre, cancer nursing, community health, administration and education, instilled my love and compassion for people in need of health care and education. I feel greatly honoured to witness change within clients when understanding evolves as part of the healing process.
My passion for teaching was as a result of adult education in nursing from the neophyte coming from school into the nursing profession to the registered nurse specialising in Cancer care. There is something magical about adult education when someone learns something new, and the childlike curiosity of wanting to understand, emerges into self confidence either to add to existing health knowledge or a completely new career which was very much the way it was for me. I taught Anatomy and Physiology at tertiary education level, and developed a two year self study programme for people who would like to learn about the structure and function of the body or where it is a requirement following a career in Natural Health care. Since 1990 - 1998, I was honoured to serve as a board member on the International Society for Nurses in Cancer Care, representing Africa and the Middle East. This opportunity was indeed very educational as I was privileged to be exposed to many different cultures around the world and witnessed the various beliefs on health care and illness. Irrespective if one offers traditional western medicine or any natural health care modality cultural beliefs play a major role in how healthcare should be offered, accepted and the influence it will have on the healing of the person.
I have been teaching BodyTalk in South Africa, Kenya, Namibia, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Growing up on a farm provided me the opportunity to be part of nature and animals from a very young age, with my father as a great teacher in caring and rearing the animals and respecting the laws of nature. I have a special interest in how nature and all its creatures teach us the value of the cycle of life, which play a major role in how I see and experience the world today.
I am honoured to be part of the development of BodyTalk in various countries as an instructor, practitioner and coordinator for courses.
From 2014 - 2022 I lived in Perth Western Australia
I returned home to South Africa in October 2022.
You are welcome to contact me for courses or to book for remote sessions.
